LAFRAMBOISE GROUP is seeking a Job Costing Clerk with accounting experience. This is a full-time position based out of LAFRAMBOISE GROUP’s corporate office located in Long Sault (Cornwall), Ontario.

Description of Position:

Responsible for supporting a portfolio of LAFRAMBOISE GROUP projects, including providing orderly record-keeping of materials, labour and other costs attributed to our projects.  You will also be required to compare costs to initial budgets and estimates.

  • Establishing and maintaining a physical and electronic system of documents related to the costs of a construction worksite.
  • Categorize, file, easily retrieve and distribute documents.
  • Perform general office administrative functions.
  • Provide invaluable support to the Project Managers and their team.
  • Ensuring health & safety policies and provincial health and safety regulations are understood and followed.
  • Providing insight regarding project activities.
  • Providing verbal and written project status updates and reports.
  • Performing other duties as required.

 Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm
  • Some overtime may be required at times

 Skills & Experience

  • Possess a college diploma in Accounting or 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage concurrent contracts and projects.
  • Proficient at analyzing, managing, and administering contract documentation.
  • Possess a strong command of the English language, both written and oral (French / Spanish would be an asset).
  • Have a strong working knowledge of MS 365 office, SharePoint and other advanced office technology.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner, and in conjunction with the Ontario Workplace Safety and Health Act.
